invisible!

I've always been having some issues with rendering the lower part of the body, this is one way to take care of it. Maybe people should start creating characters with invisibility powers.

the man who loves you

Secret Invasion kicked ass! But something bothers me though, who loves you? Skrulls kept on saying that "He loves you" but I may have missed it because I am still unsure who that 'he' is. My theory on the matter, it could be Norman Osborn (as shown on sketch; yep, that's him). You just can't dismiss the fact that Skrulls have the same shade of green as the Green Goblin. The Skrull Queen seemed like she was sacrificing herself for something when she kept on saying that 'He loves me' and then bam! Norman fragged her. Next thing we know, Norman got all registered heroes under him. Hmmm, something smells fishy, or skrully perhaps. For all we know, he could be a Skrull-god or something. I am not as 'knowledgeable' as these people, so you please try and help me out.
I apologize for the sketch, having trouble with Norman's hair.

the white lady

A quick comic page I did at McDonald's last night. This was after Gambit. The word balloons were Corel though.

gambit

I was with Jobajo at McDonalds Jones for a supposedly business meeting but we ended up sketching something till the wee hours of the morning. this was supposed to be Gambit from the X-Men.

girly wolvie

Wasn't doing anything much and I wanted to try and do something, pencils and inks, in a very short span of time. And it was a disaster.

t-shirto one more time!

A design for a client.

new style-o

Some style I'm experimenting on. Nothing much, but the style is very comfortable.

the blackbox!

I was browding over some stack of magazines that I kept over the years. I was surprised to find an old copy of Blackbox magazine that we published a few years back. The magazine is all black and white. The last picture is an artwork of Harvey Tolibao, we asked him to do some pages for us for free! That was a few years before he had a stint with Marvel.

i am draa-kyula

A creature of the night artwork I did for a friend.

The Hulk's big nuts

penciled

inked

photoshoped

I tried to do The Hulk without looking at any reference whatsoever, and this is what I came up with. The Hulk is one of my favorite characters. I like to draw him with crazy proportions and not just some giant person. First time doing colors using photoshop, and I am liking it so far.

tshirto!

Been busy with t-shirt designs I'm doing for some clients. after these projects are done, I'll be back on the drawing table. I reallly need more practice with my pencils, but a man needs to eat, so I do t-shirt design and printing on the side.

aqualad!

Hmmm, this was supposed to be Aqualad for an art jam with some local artist. I somehow forgot to put the long gloves and I can't seem to find a good way around that funny looking hair. I really need to work more on my hair. Well, moving forward, did this for about half an hour non-stop. I'll try harder next time.

young girl!

I was actually trying to do a decent pencil work, but the thing is, I was using a 3h pencil so I ended up with this piece, it looks good, but my wrist hurt a lot afterwards.

This piece was supposed to be an old woman but I got a little lazy so she ended up young. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

watercolor? watercolor!

To keep my mind off the family planning project, I tried putting in watercolors on an illustration that I posted a while back. Here it is.

cramming for family planning

It has been a long time since I last posted here! I have been busy with some commission works by an N.G.O. for family planning. I was asked to do some ten illustrations for a span of just a few days! Normally, it would take me about 5 hours to do the pencils but with this project, I did a complete illustration with pencils, ink, and watercolor in about 3 to 4 hours, talk about cramming.
