Been busy with t-shirt designs I'm doing for some clients. after these projects are done, I'll be back on the drawing table. I reallly need more practice with my pencils, but a man needs to eat, so I do t-shirt design and printing on the side.

aqualad!

Hmmm, this was supposed to be Aqualad for an art jam with some local artist. I somehow forgot to put the long gloves and I can't seem to find a good way around that funny looking hair. I really need to work more on my hair. Well, moving forward, did this for about half an hour non-stop. I'll try harder next time.

Above is a shot of a thumbnail that I did for some sequential pages that I am currently doing. Doing thumbnails is really fun! I ended up inking the damn thing! well, I hope I will be able to post the actual pages soon.

I was actually trying to do a decent pencil work, but the thing is, I was using a 3h pencil so I ended up with this piece, it looks good, but my wrist hurt a lot afterwards.

This piece was supposed to be an old woman but I got a little lazy so she ended up young. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

To keep my mind off the family planning project, I tried putting in watercolors on an illustration that I posted a while back. Here it is.

cramming for family planning

It has been a long time since I last posted here! I have been busy with some commission works by an N.G.O. for family planning. I was asked to do some ten illustrations for a span of just a few days! Normally, it would take me about 5 hours to do the pencils but with this project, I did a complete illustration with pencils, ink, and watercolor in about 3 to 4 hours, talk about cramming.

I have no idea what I can post here today. Been a lazy ass for the past few days.

My workstation is just a bastardized study table. I have a board for drawing and some assorted pencils. I am trying to paint again, but my lazy side just can't seem to start something.

jared cometh

This is one of the characters for the graphic novel I am making. It has some Jamie Hewlett and Travis Charest influences on it, but I'm not sure if it's working okay.

The name's Jared, and he is some champion/bounty hunter/cop in pursuit of someone. I like the swords at his waist which he uses like an 'arnis'. I have actually finished this first, then the partners men in black a few posts back, just never got around posting it.

Spent approximately four hours on the table for this one, that includes the thumbnails to final inks. There are some few details because this started out as a doodle that got out of hand.

I am currently doing some studies for the Gatekeeper and some thumbnails for the pages.
